For the first time in RTS history, we are accepting donations. Turns out advocacy at this level is kinda pricey.
Funds will help offset travel costs for Jayna and Kate to go back and forth to Washington, D.C. to meet with policymakers and leading Veterans' organizations to get the Froede-Larkin Military TBI and Suicide Reform Act (which includes changes to the Purple Heart criteria!) over the finish line.
These changes will ensure that Combat Veterans with a TBI receive the Purple Heart they are entitled to!
We are aiming for $3,500 to cover airfare, hotel, daily per-diem, taxi/Uber fees, extra childcare, and administrative costs (e.g., flyers & paper copies of the bill).
